The Riverside Artists’ Lofts is located on the Truckee River in downtown Reno. The project involved the conversion of a historic Reno hotel into loft apartments for “starving artists”. Residents, who vary from poets to sculptors, must qualify for these rent controlled  studios where they can live  and develop their  talents.

The bottom floor of the facility been reserved for retail uses and galleries. Gray & Associates was involved in civil engineering consultation for the project architect. The facility is an integral part of the Uptown Downtown ARTown Summer Arts Festival program, a local arts festival held every July in the Truckee Meadows. Gray & Associates is proud to have been involved with this cornerstone arts facility and downtown redevelopment project.
